Ava watches adoringly as Beatrice Bee, queen of the Honey Bee Bragage, flys around on our new TV. Yesterday we saw loads of bees in a hive at the Pacific Science Center. Auntie Lisa was there to enjoy the fun.

I think this may be one of the cutest pics of Audrey yet! Look at that expression!
A couple of days ago Ava and I were hanging out in the office where her colored pencils and markers were. Also down there was an unused chess board. She was curious so I whipped it out and she helped me setup the pieces. I tried my best to explain how they move and what not. We played a game where I asked her where she wanted to move the pieces. She obviously can’t grasp the major strategies of the game yet, but she did pretty darn well at knowing how to move the pieces. Smart girl!
