Today Ava turns 3 years old! Yesterday at her 3-year checkup the doctor says she’s great in 50-75% for both height and weight. One of her first presents was having Maui Gramma over. Both Ava and Audrey had lots of fun playing and hugging with my mom. After the doc appointment yesterday we went to a breakfast place where we ordered a plate of strawberry waffles with whipped cream! A sugary indulgence fitting for the occasion. Here is how it went: Chomp chomp chomp, swallow, stabb with fork, chomp chomp chomp, swallow, repeat until plate was empty, "more gramma!?", start from beginning and repeat like 3 times. Apparently Ava likes strawberry waffles. Who would have guessed? 
At 3 years old Ava is not only beautiful and vastly intelligent, but she is also wise, caring and an excellent big sister embracing that role with passion. Audrey loves her for it too!
