On July 8th all four of us went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. It was mostly lots of fun. 
It was hot out and a bit difficult to navigate Audrey in the stroller sometimes. Usually when Ava first experiences something she just takes it in; thinking and observing. Usually the second time and on she gets super excited. I think her favorite exhibit was the insects. She loves her bugs!

One the 4th we went to Auntie Jen’s and Uncle Shamez’s house. Here we ate like fatties and enjoyed it all so much. This picture is of Ava eating a cup cake, which is probably the third time in her life she has had refined sugar.
While she did enjoy the cup cake, it took her a while before she’d even touch it. She didn’t finish it once we gave her some grapes, at which time she didn’t stop shoving them into her mouth. She LOVES grapes like crazy. I’m very proud that she naturally enjoys nature’s sugar instead of refined sugar.

This summer Ava has really enjoyed her outside time. On our deck Elizebeth setup a bunch of plants, including a blueberry bush that Ava eats from almost daily. Check out girl being such a big helper:
